Dr. Uday Tekchandani
Dr Uday Tekchandani is a Vitreoretina and Uveitis Specialist who completed his MBBS from GS Medical College (KEM hospital) Mumbai.
Thereafter Dr Tekchandani completed his M.S. Ophthalmology and M.Ch. in Vitreoretinal Surgery (the first degree of this kind in Asia) from the prestigious P.G.I.M.E.R. in Chandigarh.
He has a keen interest in Retinal disorders including Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachment, Macular Degeneration, Macular hole, Hypertensive retinopathy, Retinal Dystrophies, Uveitis as well as Pediatric Retinal Disorders including Retinopathy of Prematurity.
Dr Tekchandani has authored multiple publications in National and International peer-reviewed journals and has won multiple awards at National and International levels including the Travel Grant at the World ROP Congress in Dubai in 2022.
He has attended conferences as well as has given presentations at multiple National and International platforms including Dubai, Austria , Australia and USA.
